Plafons en l'escriptori Plasma

Un plafó és un contenidor d'estris que es pot ubicar a qualsevol lloc de l'escriptori. Hi pot haver múltiples plafons en el mateix costat. El disseny per omissió és un plafó que s'estén per tota la part inferior de l'escriptori amb els següents estris: menú d'aplicacions, paginador de l'escriptori, gestor de tasques (llista les finestres obertes), safata del sistema, notificador de dispositius i un rellotge. Si utilitzeu un ordinador portàtil, ultra-portàtil o d'un altre tipus que utilitzi una bateria també hi haurà un estri gestor d'energia. Al final del plafó és un botó de quadre d'eines que es pot activar per accedir a les opcions de configuració.

Configuració

El plafó es pot configurar fent clic al quadre d'eines situat a la dreta del plafó horitzontal o a la part inferior del plafó vertical. En aquest moment, el plafó està en el mode de configuració. A la configuració del plafó també es pot accedir a través del menú contextual (fent clic dret) en el plafó.

Els estris al plafó es poden ordenar arrossegant-los en el mode de configuració. Els estris estan alineats a l'esquerra en el plafó horitzontal i la part superior en el plafó vertical.

El quadre d'eines del plafó

Size arrows: The arrows on the bar in the middle allow the panel size to be adjusted.
- Arrows pointing left change the minimum panel size.
- Arrows pointing right change the maximum panel size.
- The arrow pointing up is the center of the panel.
- To adjust the height of a horizontal panel or the width of a vertical panel, use the spin box in the toolbox.
- After resizing a panel, you can reset it to maximized in the More Options menu.

Afegeix estris: Permet afegir estris al plafó.

Afegeix un espaiador: Permet afegir un espaiador en el plafó donant espai entre els elements.
- El comportament normal d'un espaiador és que utilitza tant espai com sigui possible (mida flexible), però també el podeu configurar a una mida fixa:. Entreu al menú contextual (clic dret) i desactiveu Configurar una mida flexible.

Vora de la pantalla: Permet arrossegar el plafó a qualsevol de les quatre vores de la pantalla.

Suprimeix aquest plafó: Elimina el plafó actual i tots els estris que conté.

Alçada (pel plafó horitzontal): Permet ajustar l'alçada del plafó.

El menú «Més paràmetres»

Alineació del plafó: Permet l'alineació dels plafons per a fixar-los en tres posicions predefinides:
- Esquerra/Dalt
- Centre
- Dreta/Abaix

Visibilitat:
- Sempre visible: Manté el plafó visible en tot moment, fins i tot quan les finestres es maximitzen.
- Oculta automàticament: Oculta el plafó de la pantalla fins que el ratolí es col·loca prop de la seva vora de la pantalla.
- Les finestres el poden tapar: Això permet a les finestres cobrir el plafó, fins i tot quan estan maximitzades.
- Les finestres van a sota: Això permet a les finestres anar per sota del plafó, fins i tot quan estan maximitzades.

Maximitza el plafó: Fa que el plafó s'ajusti a les vores de la pantalla, si és que ha estat redimensionat.

Floating Panel: Adds some margin around the panel when no windows are touching it.

Remove Panel: Deletes the panel.

Shortcut: Allows you to set a shortcut to focus the panel when it is not currently visible.

Múltiples plafons

També és possible tenir més d'un plafó a l'escriptori. Això és útil si voleu tenir un disseny més flexible:

Per afegir un nou plafó feu clic al botó de quadre d'eines de l'escriptori i seleccioneu Afegeix un plafó o obriu el menú contextual (clic dret) a l'escriptori i seleccioneu Afegeix un plafó des del menú.

Si teniu instal·lat més d'un tipus de plafó, sereu capaç de seleccionar entre ells per triar el tipus de plafó que preferiu. Per omissió, hi ha dos tipus de plafons disponibles: Plafó per omissió, crea un plafó que conté tots els estris per omissió (llançador, paginador, tasques, safata del sistema, rellotge, etc.), i Plafó buit, afegeix un plafó buit sense cap tipus d'estri preconfigurat.

Sota el capó

Si passa quelcom «inconvenient» al vostre plafó, feu una ullada a ~/.kde(4)/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc. El plafó en si és classificat com un contenidor (almenys n'hi ha dos, l'escriptori i el plafó), el qual serà la llar dels diferents estris que hi posareu.
