Get a larger mouse pointer and better mouse acceleration
For a larger mouse pointer do this
Press Alt + F2 and enter
kate ../.kde/share/config/kcminputrc
Confirm this with the Return or Enter key .
Note
If the above command brings up an empty file, then you might try editing ../.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc instead.
