It is helpful if you tell us ''whether you intend to use off-line translation''. Off-line translation means using other tools like Lokalize and uploading ready translations here. This is for planning only, and you can change your mind.  When your account is added, please read Tasks_and_Tools and the relevant linked pages. You are not confined to translating the language you registered as long as your grasp of the language is sufficient, and you do not need any additional registration.

: This is odd. I just checked your rights and you did not have translator rights. I gave you those rights, so you should be able to translate now. Have you made any translations on UserBase before? You need a UserBase account before you can be added to the Translator group, register or log in here adding your details to the bottom of the list. If you haven't already done so, consider adding your email address on your preferences page.

The workflow for translators is described in Translate a Page.

Re-apply needed?

User:Chao Feng

I have translation right before. But right now when I save translations, it says unknown error happens. Do I need to apply translation right again? -- Chao Feng (talk) 08:26, 5 November 2020 (UTC)

This is odd. I just checked your rights and you did not have translator rights. I gave you those rights, so you should be able to translate now. Have you made any translations on UserBase before? (If you have made translations on one of the other wikis but not here it would explain things as each wiki has its own rights.)

Thanks. It works. Yes, I have translated in UserBase years ago. Maybe it is too long. --Chao Feng (talk) 09:48, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
