Ρυθμίσεις για την αναζήτηση επιφάνειας εργασίας

This module provides settings for Nepomuk and Strigi. Nepomuk allows you to attach metadata to your files, and to access this metadata in any application that supports Nepomuk. Strigi indexes such information and makes it availlable for intelligent searching.

Για να χρησιμοποιήσετε τις υπηρεσίες αυτές, πρέπει να τις ενεργοποιήσετε στην καρτέλα Βασικές ρυθμίσεις.

Στην καρτέλα Αναζήτηση στην Επιφάνεια εργασίας, μπορείτε να διαμορφώσετε τους φακέλους που επιθυμείτε να δεικτοδοτεί/ευρετηριοποιεί το Strigi'. Κάντε κλικ στο Προσαρμογή φακέλων ευρετηρίου... στη δεξιά πλευρά του παραθύρου. Αυτό θα εμφανίσει ένα παράθυρο διαλόγου. Στο αριστερό κομμάτι του διαλόγου θα δείτε το σύστημα αρχείων σας σε προβολή δέντρου. Εδώ μπορείτε να επιλέξετε τους φακέλους που θα δεικτοδοτούνται. Στο δεξί μισό υπάρχει μια λίστα με μοτίβα· αρχεία που ταιριάζουν με αυτά τα μοτίβα δε θα δεικτοδοτούνται.

Options for backup are found in the Backup tab. Nepomuk is capable of creating regular backups of data that could not be restored otherwise. You can choose to have backups made automatically at regular intervals, or you can make a backup manually. There is also an option to restore a backup. Automatic backups are stored in $KDEHOME/share/apps/nepomuk/backupsync/backups/.

In the Advanced Settings tab, you can decide how much memory Nepomuk is allowed to use.
