Education

KDE sætter uddannelse og børnenes fremtid øverst på dagsordenen med en række applikationer til forskellige emneområder som sprog og naturvidenskab. Ligesom KDE arbejder seriøst på at frisætte computerbrugere, så arbejder vi seriøst på at frigøre ungdommen med viden.

Information

KDE Education-teamet har til formål at lave Fri Uddannelsessoftware baseret på KDE's teknologier. Besøg deres webside, http://edu.kde.org.

Sprog

	Kanagram Et spil, hvor man gætter ord, hvis bogstaver er byttet rundt.
	KHangMan Endnu et spil, hvor man gætter ord. Dette er en udgave af det klassiske "hangman" spil.
	Kiten Opslagsbog og læringsværktøj til japansk
	KLettres An aid for learning the very first sounds of a new language. Over a dozen languages are available.
	KWordQuiz A general purpose flashcard program, useful for vocabulary training and other subjects.
	Parley Another general-purpose memorizing tool with language support. Uses a spaced repetition learning method.

Mathematics

	Cantor A GUI for fancy computer algebra systems.
	KAlgebra An algebraic calculator with support for the MathML markup language.
	KBruch A tutorial program for practicing calculating with fractions.
	Kig A program for exploring geometric constructions.
	KmPlot A powerful mathematical function plotter for KDE workspaces.

Science

	Kalzium An application for viewing information about the elements in the periodic system.
	KStars A desktop planetarium from KDE, accurately representing the night sky from any location on the planet.
	Marble A powerful virtual globe and world map. It is able to use OpenStreetMaps. You can see it in action in this video
	Step An interactive physical simulator which shows how a scene will evolve according to the laws of physics.
	Rocs An interactive Graph Theory IDE for Students.

Miscellaneous

	Blinken Our version of the well-known game Simon Says.
	KGeography A geography learning tool that includes a map browser and some games.
	KTouch A program for learning touch typing on a keyboard quickly and correctly.
	KTurtle An educational programming environment that can be used to teach kids math, geometry and programming. It uses a language loosely based on Logo.
