Not only does "Discover" not compete with CLI apps (as the article states), but neither does Discover compete with GUI apps such as "Synaptic" at all. "Synaptic" and e.g. "Packagesearch" give users far more control and functionality. Discover is limited and leaves users with pretty little information about what it is that Discover is doing. The rationale given - i.e. "belief in empowerment" - does maybe persuade some users, but not all users. Not sure if the article is coherent in that respect. --Zachus (talk) 18:15, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
