Kompare — це вільна графічна програма з відкритим кодом, за допомогою якої ви зможете порівняти два текстових файла або два каталоги з текстовими файлами.
Kompare does not actually compute the differences between the compared files itself, but is merely a graphical front end to the command line interface diff utility. However, the colour coding of changed lines makes them very easy to spot.
It is a standard tool, coming packaged in the kdesdk module.
Kompare was previously known as kdiff.
