Acesta este desktop-ul Plasmă de bayă al KDE-ului.Aceste aplicaţii sunt programe comune de obicei găsite in baza KDE 4 Instalări.Ele oferă nucleul funcţionalităţii mediului desktop-ului.Aceste programe de bază KDE permit utilizatorilor să opereze,să gestioneze şi să controleze desktop-ul si programele lor,uşor şi flexibil.
