O Amarok é capaz de reproduzir músicas de um servidor multimídia Ampache. Se quiser instalar um servidor, veja aqui mais informações. As indicações de instalação estão aqui.

Cliente Ampache

Ative o serviço Ampache usando a opção Configurações -> Configurar o Amarok... -> Serviços da Internet antes do Amarok 2.4.1. A partir do 2.4.1 em: Configurações -> Configurar o Amarok... -> Plugins.

A partir do 2.4.1: Clique no ícone da chave inglesa para abrir a janela de configuração

Selecione Adicionar servidor:

Configure the service with the data entered on the server:

Now the Ampache service should appear in Media Sources -> Internet.
