If you want to create your language models from scratch, it helps if you have a good shadow dictionary.
You can import any of the dictionaries below with Simons import dictionary wizard.
English
- Voxforge lexicon; Large, high quality lexicon. Does not contain terminal information. GPL.
German
- BOMP; Starting with Simon 0.3, Simon can automatically download and import the HADIFIX BOMP; Large, high quality lexicon. Does contain terminal information. Restrictive license.
- GPL dictionary of ralfherzog. You can find the dictionary on ralfherzogs blog (in the right column). Extremely large, quite high quality lexicon. Does contain little terminal information.
Other languages
- GPL dictionaries of ralfherzog. You can find those dictionaries on ralfherzogs blog. Usually very large, mixed quality. Does not contain terminal information.
