A batch rename application. |
KRename is KDE's swiss army knife to rename files.
It uses plugins to make use of meta data, allows you to change cases, add numbers and many more.
Renaming of thousand files in one run is no problem.

Build from source

Dependencies:
- Qt5 and KF5
- Exiv2 (optional): http://www.exiv2.org

Assuming that you have all the dependencies already installed, just do:
git clone git://anongit.kde.org/krename.git
cd krename
mkdir build && cd build
cmake ..
sudo make install
