Plasma/Cambiadesktop

Cambiadesktop è un oggetto di Plasma che ti aiuta ad organizzare i desktop virtuali. Offre una piccola anteprima di ogni desktop virtuale costituita da rettangoli che rappresentano la geometria delle applicazioni presenti. Puoi passare da un desktop virtuale all'altro facendo clic sulle anteprime. Passando con il puntatore del mouse sulle anteprime viene visualizzato un elenco di tutte le applicazioni contenute. Tramite il menu contestuale (clic destro) è possibile aggiungere nuovi desktop virtuali o rimuovere l'ultimo.

Furthermore the desktop pager determines the arrangement of the virtual desktops (e.g. 2x2, 1x4, 3x4, etc.). This arrangement has an influence on the switch desktop animation.

Configuration

The desktop pager provides a wide variety of configuration options which can be accessed through the context menu. Right-click on the pager and select Pager Settings.

General

Under general settings you can configure the following options

• Display text: Desktop number, Desktop name or no text at all

• Display icons: Toggles whether application icons are shown in the preview

• Number of columns: Sets the number of column in the desktop grid

• Selecting current desktop: Sets what happens if the preview of the current active desktop is clicked:
  • Does nothing
  • Shows desktop
  • Shows dashboard
