Hi Merlimau

I made some small corrections to the formatting of your last edit of Kdenlive/Manual/Timeline/Editing. I am not sure exactly what you wanted to achieve, though. I gather that you want the tags to be displayed verbatim - the accepted way to do that is the <nowiki> tag. The <keycap> tag is for key presses, and it may confuse translators if you use it for other things and it will give strange results when the wiki-manual is converted to a help file (docbook format).

Did you want the grey background as well? (I am not sure that can be converted into docbook format.)

Hi Claus

I don't know how to answer (tool wise) so I put it here. My intension was to show the part as "code" and not as text.

Hi Merlimau

This place is precisely meant for threads like this, so you answered the right place.

For inline code we have the <code> tag and for longer code snippets there is the {{Input|... template. The Input template is normally used as a separate translation unit.

Since your code appears in a bulleted list I imagine the <code> tag is the best choice. You will still need to enclose the code in <nowiki> tags to avoid them being interpreted. Fx <p>abc</p> (edit this to see how it was done).

I hope this helps
