KMess is een Linux-chatprogramma alternatief voor Live/MSN Messenger. Het stelt Linux-gebruikers in staat om te chatten met vrienden die MSN Messenger of Live Messenger gebruiken in Windows of Mac OS. De kracht van KMess is de integratie met KDE Plasma-werkomgevingen, de focus op Messenger-specifieke functies en een gebruiksvriendelijk uiterlijk.

Getting it

You can usually get KMess by downloading a package for your distribution: check in your own package manager if KMess 2.0.4 is already present! If not, you can look on the kmess.org downloads page to learn more. Kubuntu 9.10 includes KMess 2.0, Kubuntu 10.04 includes KMess 2.0.3 and openSUSE 11.3 also includes KMess 2.0.4
