Hi, Sordon. Is Translations:UserBase/16/de a mistake? It seems a strange page name. --annew 15:41, 9 June 2010 (CEST)
- Hmh, I'm not sure what you mean. When I look at Translations:UserBase/16/de I see the two categories 'Erste Schritte' the German equivalent to 'Getting Started' and 'Contributing'. The category 'Contributing' is from the original German translation. For 'Contributing' I did not find an existing German category. 'Erste Schritte' on the other hand is already in use by several other pages. --Sordon 17:43, 9 June 2010 (CEST)
- Never mind - that was a misunderstanding on my part.--annew 13:13, 28 June 2010 (CEST)
Sordon, hold off restoring translation of the Welcome/Home page until Nikerabbit has investigated why we lost the existing translation. I'll let you know as soon as we have answers. --annew 13:13, 28 June 2010 (CEST)
- Hello Anne, oops sorry, read your mail to late and already changed the translation already to German. The same also happened to the Page Getting_Help/de. But I'll wait until the problem is figured out. --Sordon 13:25, 28 June 2010 (CEST)
Greetings, Sordon. Annwe wrote me that you are also working on German translations? I just registered yesterday on UserBase to work on German translations. Most pages are either incomplete, untranslated at all, or … let's just say "not good". I am currently working on all Plasma related articles (almost completed Clocks and Kickoff) and file management stuff (Dolphin, Dolphin/File_management, File_transfers etc) --TKai 13:49, 7 June 2011 (BST)
- Hello TKai, yes I took over the role as teamleader for the German translations. But actually a real team has not formed yet. I started to write some guidelines and hints on the page Translation Workflow/German. Maybe you can also post your findings there and use the discussion page to talk about certain topics. Currently I have no special topic to work on. Most of the time I look here what hits my eye to work on. I'm looking forward to your input and suggestions. --Sordon 14:14, 7 June 2011 (BST)
